If you qualify, in accordance with the terms below and subject to applicable law, ZapTravel will refund you in the following manner:

First, we’ll gift you with one voucher for $50 off your next stay with ZapTravel which is a $250 minimum value before taxes and fees. Next, we’ll refund you for the difference in the following way:

For a refundable booking, we’ll either help you cancel your booking so you can rebook at the lower price, or we will refund 100% of the difference after travel is completed

For a non-refundable booking we’ll give you the price difference in the form of an additional voucher for 100% of the difference for you to redeem for your future booking on ZapTravel.

Qualification terms

On-time contact

You have to contact us within 24 hours of your reservation with all the details of the other deal including a link to the offer on the website and the exact price being quoted. ZapTravel does not accept screen screenshots, photos or other images of lower prices provided by customers.

Comparable deals

The other deal has to be able being reserved online and still available when we check and has to be an exact match, including for example, the same property, same room/apartment type, same currency, same payment form, same dates, and same room conditions (including the meal plan, cancellation policy, package offer, etc.). In case of packages, the packages have to be the same. In case of inclusive prices, the included items have to be the same. Room prices that include food or beverage items, entertainment items, parking or other bundled items, will be considered as packages, and must be entirely equivalent.

General-public availability

The deal is not a special membership rate, loyalty points, frequent stayer rate, rewards programs or special promotion made available through the accommodation provider. Neither deal is for corporate customers, military personnel, students, children, senior citizens, groups, and members of organizations such as AAA and AARP, as well as wholesaler and consolidator fares, convention rates, and fares purchased through coupon promotions, loyalty and other “reward“ programs.

No blind reservations

You didn’t reserve through a website that doesn't reveal which property or accommodation type you’ll be staying at until after you've made a reservation.

Limit

There is a limit of two refund requests per customer per calendar month (regardless of the number of accounts used or number of reservations made by the customer).

Verification

All claims are subject to verification by ZapTravel. ZapTravel has to be able to verify all elements of the claim and the required terms of the other deal, at the time the claim is processed and verify that both the room price and the total room cost at the time of verification are lower than those found on the ZapTravel website.

Changes

ZapTravel reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or discontinue the Best Price Guarantee or any of its terms, or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability. The terms that are in effect at the time of your booking will determine your eligibility under the Best Price Guarantee. Such changes in the Best Price Guarantee will not affect any voucher that has already been issued to you.

Abuse

ZapTravel reserves the right to revoke any and all benefits of a the Best Price Guarantee (including the right to cancel a previously awarded voucher) if it is found that a customer has attempted to or has violated or circumvented the terms of the Best Price Guarantee, as in effect.

Availability

All reservations are subject to availability at the time of reservation and all applicable terms and conditions of such reservation.
